Kolej ITJ is a Private Higher Education Institution licensed by the Ministry of Education, funded by a private group of individual education-entrepreneurs. Kolej ITJ has been established in 1975 as a private technical institution of higher learning and has been approved by the Government to conduct engineering and other technical courses.  Our main objective is to provide an Engineering and Industrial Technology education for those who have completed secondary education and wish to pursue further studies in the level of Certificate, Diploma and Degree in different engineering and computer fields locally and overseas. 

In its 32 years of existence, Kolej ITJ has a reputation and established itself as one of the leading providers of quality education offering programmes in Engineering and Industrial Technology to help in preparing the Malaysians to meet the nation’s need for qualified, skilled and professional graduates.

Today, Kolej ITJ prides itself in providing good programmes in both teaching and skills, while giving personal attention to individual students. We are providing excellent facilities and academic programmes whilst promoting easy accessibility and interaction between students and the staff.

Kolej ITJ offers a range of engineering courses at various levels starting from Skill through Foundation, Diploma and Degree courses in Engineering and Computer Science in various disciplines. Kolej ITJ was registered under the Education Act 1996 (Act 550) and the Private Higher Education Act 1996 (Act 555).  Kolej ITJ has been approved by the National Accreditation Council (LAN) Malaysia for the accreditation of their Diploma and Degree Programmes.

Kolej ITJ enjoys a good reputation for the quality of its teaching, vocational and professional orientation.  At the same time it is using modern communication, equipment, teaching facilities and emergent strength in selected disciplines. Currently, Kolej ITJ has more than 600 full-time students from every part of Malaysia with a small number of international students. Kolej ITJ is also able to establish itself as one of the premier private higher education institutions providing internally developed courses based on the technical-vocational and professional courses in the country. The curriculum is structured to be industrial driven with academic excellence.

Presently the main campus of Kolej ITJ is located off Jalan Kelang Lama, in a fast growing commercial area, which is approximately 5 km from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur.
